San Antonio police arrested two men on charges of online solicitation of a minor this week, and detectives promised that the arrests would not be the last.

The arrests were the 14th and 15th arrests made this year of what vice detectives call "Internet sex travelers."

Bruce Miller, 44, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of trying to solicit sex from a 13-year-old girl over the Internet.

San Antonio Police Department spokeswoman Sandy Gutierrez said an SAPD vice detective posed as the girl.

Miller, who is married with two daughters, owns a photography business.

Gutierrez said detectives obtained a warrant to search Miller's Northwest side home and his photography studio.

On Wednesday, SAPD vice detectives arrested Donald Simmons, 52, of Round Rock, on suspicion of trying to solicit sex from a minor on the Internet.

Gutierrez said the computer technician thought he was meeting a 15-year-old girl for sex, and instead was arrested by vice detectives.

"You have so many individuals that are out there that are in chat rooms that are trying to contact what they believe are juveniles," said Gutierrez. "They may think, 'They're not going to get me -- they're just way too many of us out there -- there's not enough officers.' This shows you we are anywhere and everywhere," said Gutierrez.
