A 57-year-old man was charged with child sex crimes after a woman found a flash drive containing nude pictures of her 6-year-old daughter, an arrest affidavit stated.

Wayne Hatchell was charged with sexual assault of a child and possessing child pornography.

According to the affidavit, the woman told police when she questioned her daughter about the photos, the girl told her mother that Hatchell had engaged in some inappropriate sexual behavior with her.

Hatchell had been a house guest of the family until he was kicked out for stealing, the affidavit stated.
