Target recalls pjs that don't meet flammability standard

Target recalled 560,000 children's pajama sets and another $42,000 sleepers because they failed to meet federal flammability standards.

 

The two-piece sets for infants, toddlers and children  are Target Circo and Xhilaration brands made of cotton or cotton and fleece and were sold last year.

 

They do not meet the tight-fitting sizing requirements, and that poses are burn hazard, according to the Consumer Products Safety Commission www.cpsc.gov.

 

The one-piece pajamas with feet were for girls and had the Circo brand on them.  They come in purple owl, pink leopard and blue swirls prints and were also sold last year.

 

Parents should return the pajamas to the store for a refund.

 

Nearly 168,000  Air Misters sold at Target were recalled because the plastic misters can shatter while in use.  The misters are devices used to spray water for personal cooling.  They should also be returned to the store for a refund.

 

Bugaboo recalled nearly 50,000 of its high-end strollers.  A button on the seat's carrying handle can become disengaged and cause the handle to come off, according to the CPSC.

 

Certain serial numbers of the Bugaboo Cameleon and Bugaboo Donkey models are involved in the recall.

 

The strollers were sold at Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Toys R Us and other retailers since 2009.

 

Parents should remove the handle and contact www.bugaboo.com  for a replacement.  When the handle is removed, the stroller can still be used.

 

Nearly 1.7 million pots and pans have been recalled because they cookware can collapse or severely deform when exposed to heat.

 

Hy Cite Enterprises www.hycite.com  recalled the Royal Prestige 9-Ply  Thermal Wall cookware made in Italy. 

 

There have been 1136 reports of the cookware collapsing, crimping or deforming, including one reports of consumers spattered with hot oil.
