SAN ANTONIO -- Castle Hills police are investigating a sexual assault case involving two Lee High School female students, one of whom was allegedly sexually assaulted by two males they met on the Internet.
Police said the two students met a 17-year-old boy and a 21-year-old man on the Web site
www.MySpace.com.
Investigators said the teenagers exchanged phone numbers on the sites and agreed to meet the men.
Authorities said the two females students showed up for school Monday morning, but then left to meet the two men at a home in Castle Hills, where police said one of the girls was sexually assaulted.
Police said they have identified the suspects they are looking for, but they don't have them in custody yet.
Northside Independent School District officials said that their school computers don't have access to the Web site.
"We do block that site at Northside because we do know there's a lot of potentially dangerous things that can happen there," said Joyce Stevens, of Northside ISD.
Stevens suggests for parents to have computers in a place where they can be monitored and be aware of what Web sites their kids are visiting. If need be, sit with your child while they are surfing the Internet.
"Just have honest chats and put yourselves in the kids' positions," Stevens said. "Realizing what attractions there are for kids. And just be honest with them about those dangers."
