SAN ANTONIO -- A 13-year-old boy was critically injured when a car struck him Sunday night.Police said the incident happened as the boy was walking with two friends along a Loop 410 access road near Rigsby Avenue.Two of the boys jumped out of the way as a car approached, but the victim did not.The injured boy was airlifted to University Hospital's trauma center, where he was listed in critical condition Sunday night.The driver of the car told police he could not see the boys in the dark.Police said they arrested the driver for not having a valid license and for not having insurance.
