Poteet Mayor Charged With Child Sex Crimes

SAN ANTONIO -- The mayor of Poteet was arrested and charged Tuesday with three counts of indecency with a child, Atascosa County Sheriff Tommy Williams said.

The Texas Rangers arrested Lino Donato at his auto repair shop, Williams said.

Donato was being held in the Atascosa County Jail in lieu of $70,000 bond.

Williams said the victims, who are under the age of 17, may be Donato's relatives.
