SAN ANTONIO -

Two women were hospitalized after an alleged drunk driver crashed into a taxi on the Northwest Side early Friday morning.

San Antonio police investigators said the taxi had broken down around midnight at Grissom and Heath roads and the driver walked away to get assistance.

A Good Samaritan pulled over to help when the taxi was struck by a car. The Good Samaritan was taken to University Hospital with a broken shoulder while a woman inside the taxi cab suffered unknown injuries.

The driver who caused the accident was arrested for DWI, San Antonio police said.
