Argument between couple leads to stabbing
Husband stabbed with kitchen knife on Belmont Street, charges unknown
A domestic dispute on the East Side ends with a man in the hospital and his wife in police custody.
San Antonio police were called to the 500 block of Belmont just after 7 p.m. Thursday.
According to police officers, the husband was arguing with his wife and was stabbed in the stomach with a large kitchen knife.
He was transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Police said his wife and another woman inside the home at the time of the incident were taken into custody for questioning.
Police are investigating whether the man was stabbed by one of the women or the injury was self-inflicted.
