BCSO: Registered sex offender abuses another victim
Victim, 11, told mother about attack
Joseph Medina, 37, was charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child on Sunday.
It’s the second time he’s faced sexual assault charges in the last decade.
Bexar County Sheriff’s deputies said Medina was arrested on Sunday at a home he was staying in with a relative.
Few details about the attack have been made public -- standard procedure in cases like this one.
Medina was charged with having sex with a 17-year-old back in 2002. He was convicted and given a three-year sentence.
Medina was registered as a sex offender and has since been required to update the state on where he lives and what he’s doing.
He has done so regularly.
