SAN ANTONIO -

Close to a dozen DWI suspects were arrested at the rodeo over the weekend by the Bexar County Sheriff's Office DWI Task Force.

The task force was formed to help prevent drunken driving throughout the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo.

The sheriff's office reports 11 people were arrested and face charges for DWI.

A total of 163 people received traffic citations for minor violations.

A total of 70 people were arrested for speeding and five others were arrested for various charges.

One arrest including a driver that had 1.5 ounces of cocaine and a large amount of cash in his car. The task force will continue the operation for the rodeo this week.
