A Bexar County Sheriff’s deputy is under investigation after she was arrested Thursday night on multiple charges.
The deputy, Susanna Cervantes, a 35-year-old detention officer, was booked on charges including suspicion of DWI, resisting arrest and criminal mischief.
According to the San Antonio Police department, an SAPD officer watched Cervantes pull into a parking lot near Braun Road and Loop 1604 and immediately run into two concrete barriers in front of a propane tank.
Then, she backed up, and hit them again.
The officer ran over, tried to get Cervantes out of the car, but she fought back.
The officer then used a stun gun on her, but she pulled the prongs out and continued to struggle.
The officer used the stun gun on her a second time and that time, she finally went down.
Cervantes was the second local law enforcement officer arrested Thursday.
Lundy was accused of taking $500 from a man he had detained for possession of marijuana in exchange for holding off on filing charges against the man.
