Big rig rollover shuts down I-37 turnaround near Alamodome

Big rig rollover on I-37 at Cesar Chavez
SAN ANTONIO -

A big rig rollover caused a traffic delay on Interstate 37 near the Alamodome early Monday morning.

A flatbed big rig flipped on the turnaround to I-37 North at Cesar Chavez around 7:15 a.m. The truck appeared to be loaded with cases of roof shingles.

A group of workers arrived to unload the truck shortly after the accident, but the turnaround from I-37 South to I-37 North remained closed as of 8 a.m.

The turn lanes from Cesar Chavez to the northbound highway are closed as well. No injuries have been reported.
