SAN ANTONIO -

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Laredo Port of Entry seized methamphetamine valued at $400,000 from a vehicle driven by a 51-year-old Mississippi woman.  

The seizure took place last Saturday at Gateway to the Americas Bridge.

A CBP officer referred the driver of a 1998 Ford F-150 pickup truck for a secondary inspection. 

Authorities conducted a thorough inspection and discovered 23 bundles containing a total of 26.63 pounds of methamphetamine hidden within the vehicle. 

The methamphetamine has a street value of $400,000. 

Officials seized the alleged methamphetamines and arrested the woman.
