NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas -

Suspected burglars broke into a New Braunfels Exxon store and stole an estimated $15,000 worth of cigarettes.

According to the New Braunfels Herald-Zeitung, police responded to the theft at the Exxon on Highway 46 South on Tuesday, and noticed burglars had forced their way into the store.

Police told the Herald-Zeitung they believe the suspects stole more than 200 cartons of cigarettes.

New Braunfels police said they are checking if surveillance video captured the suspects.
