Carl Bailes, 37, a west Bexar County resident, is accused of sexually assaulting two young sisters, one of them for a decade.
An arrest warrant affidavit stated the older girl, who is now 16, told Bexar County sheriff’s detectives that Bailes has been having sex with her since she was 6-years-old.
She also said that, lately, it’s been happening while her 6-year-old sister is in the same bed with them, the affidavit stated.
According to the affidavit, the teen made the outcry during a visit to the hospital on Oct. 4 where she was being treated for female problems.
The affidavit stated that she spoke up after receiving a text message while she was at the hospital from Bailes, asking her to “help him out.”
The girl told investigators that is a coded message, meaning he wants to have sex.
Detectives said they also interviewed the teen’s 6-year-old sister and found out she has been sexually assaulted by Bailes since the age of five, the affidavit stated.
Bailes was arrested Wednesday on two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child. Bond for him was set at $150,000.
