Child killed in crash with VIA bus
Police investigating cause of accident

A 6-year-old girl was killed after the car she was riding in hit a VIA bus Friday night.
Police say Avery Munoz was a passenger in a car driven by a woman who veered into oncoming traffic, hitting the bus in the 6200 block of Montgomery Road.
The woman suffered serious injuries. The girl died at San Antonio Military Medical Center from her injuries.
No one on the bus was hurt.
Police have not said why the woman crossed into oncoming traffic.
