Cleaning woman Evelyn Cader accused of stealing lawn equipment from landscaping company
Police: Cader stole lawnmower, weed eater, equipment worth $1,000 from Endeavors Unlimited
San Antonio police have arrested Evelyn Cader, 46, the cleaning woman at a Northwest Side landscaping company in connection with the theft of a some lawn equipment.
An arrest warrant affidavit stated the theft happened Aug. 1 at Endeavors Unlimited on Alamo Downs Parkway.
The affidavit stated that someone entered the business without using force and stole a lawnmower, weed eater and other equipment worth about $1,000.
Police said they checked a log, showing Cader had entered a security code, allowing herself access to the business on the night of the theft, even though she was not scheduled to work.
The affidavit stated that detectives later questioned Cader and she admitted to stealing the equipment with help from a friend.
Police said they also found surveillance video showing both Cader and the other woman entering the building.
