Get ready for some sweater weather.
Following a warming trend Tuesday and Wednesday morning, a fast-moving Pacific cold front is expected to blast into the San Antonio area Wednesday night, setting the stage for some colder weather through Friday.
Isolated to scattered thunderstorms may develop over the eastern counties in advance of the cold front.
Cool, dry and breezy weather is expected Thursday morning and afternoon, with a cold night to follow. Low temperatures are forecast to be in the 20s in the Hill Country with lows in the upper 20s and low 30s over parts of the San Antonio area.
Scattered high clouds are expected to keep daytime highs in the upper 50s Friday.
The colder weather is expected to end with a warming trend for the weekend through Christmas Day.
