A $10,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to an arrest connected to the death of 67-year-old Roland Castillo.
A neighbor reported that he found Roland Castillo, 67, dead in his bathtub at his house in the 2700 block of Wilborn Drive in June.
San Antonio police said there were signs of a struggle and that they were investigating the death as a homicide.
Now, almost four months later, Castillo's sister, Maria Nena Gonzales, is asking whoever did this to her brother to come forward.
"I want him to turn himself in," Gonzales said. "Because maybe this case might not ever be solved, but there is somebody he'll answer to."
Gonzales said around Father's Day, she met up with Castillo, along with her two children, for a family dinner. She said she didn't know it then, but that was the last time she saw him alive.
"He told the kids, 'I love you,'" Gonzales said. "He looked at me and said, 'I love you.' We gave each other a hug and that was the last we saw of him."
Castillo was found dead about a week later on June 28.
Gonzales said her brother served in the military, was an operating room nurse and was very involved with his church at St. Anthony de Padua. She said they will remember him most for his good heart.
"We are going through the first of everything without him," she said. "We've already have gone through the birthdays, my son's and daughter's. I'm dreading Christmas."
Crime Stoppers is offering $5,000 for any information leading to an arrest, and his friends are adding in another $5,000 to the Crime Stoppers reward..
Anyone with information about this case is asked to call (210) 224- STOP.
