15 DWI suspects were arrested during the second week of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, according to authorities.
The arrests were made by the Bexar County Sheriff's Office DWI Task Force, which was formed to help prevent drunken driving at the rodeo.
Two minors were arrested for DUI, the sheriff's office said.
100 drivers received speeding tickets. 32 speeders got away with just a warning.
A total of 181 drivers were cited for violations other than speeding.
Seven other arrests were made.
Deputies said they recovered more than 23 grams of cocaine from a single vehicle.
Authorities said they arrested someone for illegally carrying two handguns, a .380 cal. and a 9mm.
The task force says it caught 28 people wanted for various crimes. Last week, there were two warrants cleared, bringing the total to 30.
The total statistics from both weeks of the task force's operations are as follows:
- DWI arrest: 36
- DUI by a minor: 3
- Citations other than speeding: 344
- Speeding: 170
- Warnings: 71
- Other Arrest: 12
The task force will be out again beginning this Thursday evening for the final weekend of the Rodeo.
