Crockett Hotel sued after fatal elevator accident

The family of a Crockett Hotel housekeeper who died after falling down an elevator shaft has now filed a lawsuit against the hotel.
The San Antonio Express-News reports the family of 65-year-old Gloria Rodriguez filed the wrongful death suit naming the owners of the Crockett Hotel and New Jersey-based Otis Elevator Company.
Rodriguez fell six stories down a service elevator shaft last month. Rodriguez had been an employee at the Crockett Hotel for 12 years.
The suit was filed on behalf of Rodriguez's four grown children. They are seeking unspecified damages.
