A routine traffic stop on Interstate 10 in Guadalupe County led to the discovery of 30 pounds of marijuana.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a DPS trooper pulled over a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban on Sunday.
While interviewing the driver, the trooper observed several indicators of criminal activity.
After consent to search the vehicle, several bundles of marijuana were found hidden in a compartment.
DPS officials said the marijuana has a street value of $17,000.00.
Two men were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
