Cowboys NT Brent goes to court as modification of bond conditions sought

ARLINGTON, Texas -

Dallas Cowboys nose tackle Josh Brent is scheduled to appear in court as prosecutors seek modification of his bond conditions.

Prosecutors want Brent to wear an ankle bracelet while free on bond pending trial on intoxication manslaughter charges in the Dec. 8 one-car accident that killed friend and Cowboys practice squad member Jerry Brown. Brent is expected to appear at a Tuesday morning hearing in a state district court in Dallas.

Brent has been placed on the NFL reserve/non-football illness list and won't play again this season, but he was on the sideline with his teammates Sunday.
