DALLAS (AP) — Dallas police say a clerk has been fatally shot outside a convenience store and as many as four attackers are being sought.

Police say the shooting happened late Monday night during an apparent robbery attempt. The victim was attacked while he was with another clerk in the parking lot area.

The name of the slain man wasn't immediately released.

Dallas police had no other immediate details about the search for suspects.
