SAN ANTONIO -

Homicide detectives with the Bexar County Sheriff's Office are investigating a dead body found in the southeast part of Bexar County Saturday.

Officials said a Hispanic male was dumped in a heavily wooded area along a dirt road in the 1100 block of Roddy Road.

A property owner in the area found the body at approximately 5:00 pm on Saturday.

Investigators said the body was lying face down and had been in the woods for at least three to four days.

The man was not carrying I.D.

The cause of his death has yet to be determined, but investigators are treating it as a homicide.
