MARSHALL, Texas (AP) — A dozen people have been indicted in an East Texas drug trafficking and firearms investigation.
Federal prosecutors in Marshall on Wednesday announced 10 arrests in the cocaine and methamphetamine case. Authorities say the arrests are related to weapons, conspiracy and drug distribution indictments returned Oct. 3.
U.S. Attorney John Bales says the case involves drug distribution in the Marshall area, about 145 miles southeast of Dallas, since 2009.
Officers seized 14 weapons, drugs, four vehicles and about $8,600 during this week's arrests.
