Driver crashes into transmission shop

Police: Man sugar levels were three to four times the normal levels

SAN ANTONIO -

A driver was taken to the hospital Saturday after he crashed his SUV into a transmission shop, according to authorities.

It happened on Austin Highway and Vandiver Saturday afternoon

Police said the driver may have been suffering from diabetic shock and that caused him to lose control.

The man's sugar levels were three to four times the normal levels, authorities said.

No one else was injured in the crash.
