A driver crashed head-on into a tree after he lost control of his car and ran over a fence.

Police said the accident happened as the driver was making a turn on Larkfair Street and Larkdale Drive around 1 a.m. Thursday.

The driver was rushed to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition.

Police believe the driver was speeding, and are investigating whether alcohol could of been a factor as well.
