Driver cut out of car after crash into parked truck
SAPD: Driver speeding down NW 36th Street, crashed into tree after accident
A driver lost control of their car and crashed into a parked truck early Thursday morning.
San Antonio police responded to the crash in the 2400 block of NW 36th Street just before 1:30 a.m.
Police said the driver was speeding when he jumped a curb, took out a guardrail and slammed into a parked pickup truck. Police said the car continued and crashed into a tree.
The driver of the truck said he had stepped out for a moment and the impact threw him into the bushes. A woman inside the truck suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the car had to be cut out of the vehicle and was taken to the hospital. Police have not updated his condition.
