Two women were hospitalized after their car was T-boned by a pickup truck Tuesday night.

San Antonio police responded to the crash around 10 p.m. at Potranco and Culebra.

Police said the truck driver ran a red light, then struck the car with the women inside.

The truck continued and finally came to a stop in a ditch. San Antonio police said the truck driver then fled on foot.

San Antonio police said both women were taken to the hospital and are expected to recover from their injuries.
