Police said a man lost control of his SUV and the vehicle rolled over early Wednesday morning.

The accident happened around 2:30 a.m. at Starcrest and Wurzbach Parkway.

Police said the driver was headed east on Starcrest when he lost control on the curve, went through some mud and flipped.

He initially refused treatment from paramedics, but crews at the scene talked him into going to the hospital. Police said he was expected to recover.

A DWI officer was called out to administer a field sobriety test to the driver.

There was no word whether the driver would face charges.
