San Antonio police arrested a woman who is accused of nearly running over a teenager and then crashing into several parked cars on the Southwest Side.
Police received a call for the initial accident around 1 a.m. Friday in the 200 block of Taft Boulevard.
Police said the driver grazed a teenager, struck a car and pushed the vehicle into the yard of a nearby home.
Witnesses told police she fled the scene, but only drove about three more blocks before she struck a few more cars, jumped a curb and her airbags deployed.
She was unable to drive any further because of the airbags, and was caught by police officers.
Police said she may have been under the influence of alcohol, but have not announced any official charges.
