A driver crashed into a McDonalds and another took out a fence and crashed into a tree early Monday morning.
San Antonio police responded to the first crash around 10 p.m. Sunday on Interstate 35 and North Walters.
Officers said the driver had to swerve to avoid hitting another car coming from a turnaround.
He then lost control, jumped a curb and crashed into the front of the restaurant. The driver was not hurt and nobody inside the McDonalds was injured.
A 23-year-old man was hospitalized after he crashed on the far West Side.
San Antonio police said the man was speeding on Springvale Drive when he jumped the curb, took out a fence and part of a tree.
He fled on foot, but suffered a large cut to his arm. Police said a neighbor treated the injury then called for paramedics. The driver was taken to University Hospital.
San Antonio said the driver possibly would not face any charges because he left the crashed car behind.
