FAA: 2 injured in Karnes Co. helicopter crash

Federal Aviation Administration officials said two feral hog hunters were injured when the helicopter they were riding in crashed in northern Karnes County on Friday.
Officials with the FAA said the small Robinson R22 helicopter crashed in a field around 3 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 80 and FM 119, near the town of Gillett.
The two people aboard were taken by medical helicopter to University Hospital with unknown injuries.
FAA officials said the helicopter was severely damaged.
