A man test driving his son's motorcycle was critically injured following a crash in the 400 block of East Amber Street Tuesday evening, San Antonio police said.

The accident happened around 7 p.m. on the South Side when the man apparently hit a speed bump and lost control of the motorcycle.

He slid onto the pavement along with the motorcycle. The man was not wearing a helmet, San Antonio police said. His injuries were unknown.
