Police say a domestic disturbance late Saturday night ended with a woman being stabbed several times.

It happened just before midnight in the 100 block of Dorie.

Investigators say the woman and her boyfriend got into a fight and that's when the man pulled a knife and stabbed her multiple times in the back.

The man left the scene.

The woman was rushed to SAMMC in serious condition.
