A fire at a West Side apartment building has left two families without a home.
Flames broke out around 11:40 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of NW 36th Street.
Crews put out the fire in less than 20 minutes, but it spread to an upstairs apartment unit.
Investigators are still looking into what sparked the flames, and there is no damage estimate.
No injuries were reported. The American Red Cross was assisting those families displaced.
