A flash flood watch remained in effect for Bexar, Atascosa, Comal, Guadalupe, Hays, Karnes and Wilson counties through Wednesday afternoon.
KSAT 12 Meteorologist Mike Osterhage said widespread heavy rain is forecast to fall across parts of Central and South Texas. Total average rain amounts will be 2 to 6 inches, Mike said.
Heavy rains could result in flash flooding of creeks and streams. Drivers and residents are urged to avoid low water crossings that could become impassable for several hours.
Skies are expected to clear late Wednesday afternoon or Wednesday evening.
Highs across San Antonio Wednesday are expected near 62 with a low around 46.
