SAN ANTONIO -

A cold front that arrived Sunday night will bring some of the coldest temperatures we’ve seen since December 2011.

The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for all of South-Central Texas, including San Antonio, from 11 p.m. through 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Cold air, light winds and clear skies will contribute to falling temperatures this evening.

The Hill Country could see temperatures in the upper teens, while the rest of the area will see mid to upper 20s.

Meteorologist Steve Browne is forecasting a low temperature in the upper 20s for San Antonio.

It is recommended you take care of your pets, pipes, and plants.

On Tuesday, it will be sunny, with forecast highs in the 50s then we’ll dip back down below freezing on Wednesday morning.
