San Antonio police are asking for the public's help in locating a wanted fugitive.

Police said Perry Joaquin Lyons, 29, is wanted on a parole violation for a charge of tampering with a governmental record.

Police said he is accused of forging checks.

Lyons is described as being 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 165 pounds.

Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to Lyons' arrest. The number to call is 210-224-STOP.
