Funeral Tuesday for second Brandeis student killed in crash

Georgina Rodriguez died in crash on Loop 1604, Gabriela Lerma laid to rest last week

SAN ANTONIO -

A Brandeis High School student who died in a crash last week will be laid to rest Tuesday morning.

Georgina Rodriguez, 16, was in the backseat of a car that crashed last Tuesday at Loop 1604 and Hausman Road.

Rodriguez was the second student to die as a result of injuries from the crash. Gabriela Lerma, 17, was also killed and laid to rest last week.

A visitiation for Rodriguez was held Monday night at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Helotes. Her funeral mass will be Tuesday at 10 a.m.
