It's turning out to not be a happy new year at the gas pump.
Already, gas prices nationwide are going up, just as they did last year the first week of the new year.
In just the last four days, that means the average price of gas has gone up to $3.12 a gallon in San Antonio -- or four cents more.
Statewide, it's gone up six cents.
In 2008, we were paying $3.96. Today, we're paying $3.12. That's 84 cents in savings.
