SAN ANTONIO -

Almost every kid wants to go to Disney World and for one very special San Antonio girl, that wish is about to come true.

Emily Hood, 4, will head to Florida with her parents courtesy of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Her family held a party for the young girl on Tuesday night to reveal her wish.

"I can't even explain it, it's like a dream come true," said David Hood, Emily's father. "This is all unreal, this whole thing."

Emily was 6-months-old when she was diagnosed with pilocytic astrocytoma, a type of brain tumor, and underwent chemotherapy for two years.

Now in remission, Emily's parents said the Make-A-Wish Foundation has given them a chance to enjoy something memorable with their daughter.

For Emily's Make-A-Wish grantors, Julie Anderson and Robert Cushman, the gratitude works both ways.

"It's definitely a bigger blessing to us than it is to the families," said Anderson. "This has been a great experience."
