After the parade, the job fair will be held in the convention center from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Finally, Strack said a concert will wrap up the even in the Alamodome parking lot, beginning at 8 p.m.

A memorial is planned for the night before, where the names of all 6400 casualties will be read.

Strack is said the most important thing about this event is helping the returning troops get jobs. He said he has reached out to oil and gas companies to get them to come to San Antonio for the job fair.

Oragnizers are accepting donations of funds or services for the event.
