SAN ANTONIO -

A trainer at Lackland Air Force Base is now waiting to see what an investigating officer will recommend after having an Article 32 hearing on Thursday.

Staff Sgt. Christopher Jackson is charged with engaging in an unprofessional relationship with two students as well as obstruction of justice.

The two victims were in technical training, but say they knew Jackson from basic training.

Jackson is one of 25 trainers investigated as part of the sex scandal involving trainees at Lackland.

According to Joint Base San Antonio spokesman Brent Boller, so far, five trainers have been convicted by courts martial. Seven others, including Jackson have been charged in the scandal. Twelve other instructors are under investigation and one trainer received an Article 15 hearing, a non-judicial punishment.
