From high chairs and swing sets to miter saws, hundreds of thousands of potentially dangerous products have been recalled by manufacturers, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission www.cpsc.gov.
Chicco Polly recalled 455,000 high chairs sold for the past seven years at major retailers including Babies R Us and Burlington Coat Factory. A total of 21 children have been reported injured by pegs that protrude from the back legs. One child suffered a scratched cornea, and others have required stitches.
The pegs are intended for tray storage. Consumers should store the tray on the pegs when it's not in use.
Walmart swing sets
More than 100,000 popular swing sets sold from December through May at Walmart, Toys R Us and Academy have been recalled by Troxel Company. Eleven models of the Flexible Flyer swing sets are included.
The seat saw seats can break away from the bolt fasteners and children can fall. More than a dozen children have been hurt.

Old Navy Aqua Socks
Old Navy recalled toddler thousands of pairs of toddler Aqua Socks for girls because they are too slippery when wet. They were sold in pink and purple from February through June.
Consumers should return them to the store for a refund. If returned before Nov. 9, consumers will also receive a coupon worth a $10 discount.
Bosch Tool Corp. recalled thousands of miter saws sold at Lowe's from January through April.
The product is the SkilSaw 10-inch compound miter saw with model number 3316 and date codes 111,112,201,202,203 or 204.
The lower guard can break and contact the blade during use, posing a laceration risk.

Holiday light sets
Consumers who bought holiday or decorative light sets at Family Dollar from September 2011 through December 2011, should take a close look at the box.
Nearly 300,000 sets of mini lights were recalled because they don't meet UL standards and could pose a fire danger.
The sets came in a red box with "200 Mini Lights" and "Multi Lights, Green Wire" printed on them.
They should be returned to the store for a refund. The sold for $8 a box.
