Firefighters help family get out safely

Frightening moments as a late night fire tears through a home just southeast of downtown.

It happened a little before 11 p.m. in the 100 block of Haynes.

Fire crews on scene say the blaze was contained to one of the upstairs bedrooms.

Firefighters were able to get the family out safely.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
