About 29,000 inflatable pool slides are being recalled after the death of a 29-year old mother and two more serious neck injuries.

Walmart and Toys R Us, in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission www.CPSC.gov  announced the recall of inflatable Banzai in-ground pool water slides.

During use, the slide can deflate and the user can hit the ground or concrete.

A 29-year old Colorado woman died in Massachusetts after fracturing her neck while using a slide placed over the concrete edge of a pool.  The slide partially deflated, and she hit her head.

The CPSC also has reports of similar incidents. A Pennsylvania woman fractured her neck, and a Missouri man became a quadriplegic.

The slides are designed for in-ground pool use.  The recalled product is blue and yellow vinyl with an arch on the top. The words "Banzai Splash" are printed in a circular logo on the side.

Walmart and Toys R Us sold the slides from January 2005 through July 2009 for about $250.  The recalled slides have the barcode 2675315734 and model number 15734.

Consumers are urged to stop using the slides and return it to the retailer.

About 92,000 trampolines sold at Walmart are also recalled.

The product is the Sportspower BouncePro 14' Trampoline. It has brown mesh netting. The netting may break. Eleven injuries have been reports, including kids with broken bones.

Walmart sold the trampolines from Feb. 2009 through Feb. 2012 for about $275.

Consumer should contact the manufacturer at 866-370-2131 or visit www.sportspowerltd.net/recall-bouncepro-14ft.html.

Kolcraft is recalling 46,000 bassinets. The recall involves various models of Tender  Vibes and Tender Lights bassinets soldfrom July 2008 through this month.

The problem is the bassinet can detach and fall from the frame because a latch that appears to be locked is not actually locked.

Consumers should contact the company www.kolkraft.com to get a repair kit.
