Johnson Jaguars, MacArthur Brahmas football game to resume Monday after bomb threat
Bomb threat called in during third quarter of game at Comalander Stadium at Blossom Athletic Center
The fourth quarter of the Johnson vs. MacArthur high school football game will be played Monday evening a 7 p.m. after a bomb threat prompted an evacuation Saturday night.
Comalander Stadium at Blossom Athletic Center was evacuated during the second half with Johnson leading 17 to 3. All players and fans were forced to leave the \athletic complex.
Police cleared the stadium within 10 minutes and crews swept the area for possible explosives. None were found.
Churchill High School was holding its homecoming dance at the gymnasium in the 12002 Jones Maltsberger Road at the same time, and that event was evacuated as well.
San Antonio police said making a bomb threat is a felony.
