Man accused of sexually assaulting teen girl leaving house party
San Antonio police use DNA to link Joshua Bradley, 23, to crime
Joshua Bradley, 23, is accused of chasing down and sexually assaulting a teenage girl after she left a northwest San Antonio house party.
The 16-year-old girl contacted police Jan. 13, saying that she had been sexually assaulted by a man who had chased her from a home in the 7300 block of Pipe Spring Street.
An arrest warrant affidavit stated that the girl told police she had left a party at that home after a fight broke out.
The teen said that as she walked away from the home, she noticed a man chasing after her.
She said he eventually caught her, forcing her to the ground where he sexually assaulted her, the affidavit stated.
The girl told police she was forced to have sex with the man a second time in a drainage ditch, the affidavit stated.
The entire assault, she said, seemed to last about an hour. Police said the teen was able to identify Bradley in a photo lineup. However, he denied any involvement, the affidavit stated.
Investigators later obtained DNA samples which they said tie Bradley to the crime, the affidavit stated. Bradley has been arrested and charged with sexual assault of a child.
